Arizona Balloon Festival FAQs

The Festival will be held Jan. 30 thru Feb. 1st. Friday Night Glow session will run from 5pm-9pm. Saturday Morning will run from 6am-9am. Saturday night glow will run from 5pm-9pm with Fireworks scheudled for 8:15pm. Sunday morning will run from 6am-9am

The festival is located at West Valley Events Complex. 10020 N. BallPark Blvd. Glendale, Az. (Across the freeway from the Cardnials Football Stadium)

 Ticket prices vary depending on age and type of admission. You can purchase tickets online in advance. CLICK HERE. 

 Yes, the festival is designed for all ages with various activities for children, including a kids’ zone, Carnival, and tethered balloon rides.

 General admission includes admission into the event, live music, a FREE Kids Zone with bounce houses & inflatable games.

Activities with additional cost include Carnival rides, tethered balloon rides, food and beverage, and retail items available for purchase from vendors. 

The night sessions are glows only and the balloons DO NOT take off for flight. Saturday morning and Sunday Morning the balloons WILL take off for flight.

No. Balloons won't be on site every minute of the event. Please check the schedule for their specific times the balloons are on site and inflated for each session. On average, balloons will be on site for viewing and interaction for 1-1.5 hours of each 4-hour session. Food Trucks, Carnival Rides and Kids Zone will be open for the entirety of each session.

On site parking is available for a fee. 

Friday night session parking fee: $5 for General and $10 for VIP

Saturday morning and evening session parking fee: $5 for General and $10 for VIP

Sunday morning session parking fee: $20 - There is no admission fee to the event for those attending Sunday morning session with the paid parking. 

 Pets are NOT allowed at the festival, with the exception of service animals. 

No outside food or drinks will be allowed into the event.

Absolutely! The balloon festival experience is designed to get up close and personal with the balloons! You will be able to get an idea of how the Balloons function and ask the balloon pilots! Feel the heat as they inflate these massive balloons.
